Looks great so far! But shouldn’t Alasdair MacIntyre be associated with Notre Dame, not Duke?

  2. 2 Matthew July 31, 2007 at 1:09 pm

Some of these appointments are at least 4 years out of date. Kvanvig is at Baylor, as is C Stephen Evans, and Leftow is now at Oxford. There are others as well, but those are the ones that jump out at me.

Thanks guys! The list still needs a lot of work. It should be much better in a week or so. Please keep the corrections coming.

  4. 4 Greg Restall August 5, 2007 at 11:47 pm

Here’s another correction, since you’re in the market for them: I’m now at the University of Melbourne, not Macquarie University.

  5. 5 Heraplem August 6, 2007 at 12:13 am

    Fixed. Thanks, Dr. Restall.

The link to Wainwright’s page presently goes to the related general faculty page, not to Wainwright in particular.

I would never have guessed that Morriston was a theist.

  7. 7 philosophickle September 4, 2007 at 2:34 am

    Thanks JB, should be fixed.

  8. 8 K. D. Kragen September 21, 2007 at 6:31 pm

A good list. Suggest you may want to include William P. Alston ( Many of the folks on your list have worked with or know Alston well (e.g. Peter van Inwagen, Eleonore Stump, Thomas Senor, Alvin Plantinga, among others). Alston was one of my wonderful advisers at Syracuse back in the 1980s.
Thanks for your hard work in developing this list.
    K. D. Kragen,,

Wow. I’m shocked to notice that we actually didn’t include Alston. Come to think of it, Wolterstorff is also left out. Fixed.

  12. 12 Scott February 10, 2008 at 11:13 pm

Jim Madden from Benedictine College should be added as well.
Very thoughtful, intelligent, considerate of opposing views, takes time and handles opposing views with sincerity.

  13. 14 Keith October 21, 2008 at 12:41 am

You should add Kevin Timpe. He’s a rather up and coming theistic philosopher (and a really good guy).

  14. 15 Glenn Peoples May 6, 2009 at 4:36 am

I notice Edward Feser isn’t there. You may want to add him. I hear there’s this up and coming guy in New Zealand too. 😉
